The health visiting service offers support and advice for all families with babies and pre-school children in Birmingham and Sutton Coldfield.
Our teams are available to provide health and development reviews at key stages for you and your baby or toddler.
Health visitors know that many parents need a little extra support in the early years. They can also provide personalised advice on understanding your new baby and children’s behaviour, breastfeeding, infant and child sleeping, healthy eating, toilet training, keeping them safe, common non-urgent minor health and development concerns, and support for mothers who feel low after a baby’s birth.
Just contact your local health visiting team to discuss how we can support you. You can find information about how to get in touch at your GP practice or in your child’s red book.
