way to uniquely define ourselves, to explain who we are by the journey we have been upon. Our history, or our story, has delivered us to where we are in this moment. What we choose to do with our story from this point forward is what will determine our destiny and how we may describe ourselves in the future. What has your journey been like thus far? Like many, you may have a
story that has many colors, that has been like a roller coaster ride of in- tense highs and lows. Or you may be feeling heavy, weighted in the lows more than the highs lately. As we move through life there may be things that knock us to our knees and take us down, even if only temporarily. Sometimes it is difficult to stay standing in strength, or to stay standing proud, when the journey has given us too many disappointments. But in fact, if we are strong enough to keep our pride, to maintain our self- dignity, then the moments of difficulty pass and we are left basking in our personal growth and expansion. Whatever your story is, you can choose how you view it and what you
do with it. Even if it has been a dark and scary ride, one that has caused you great pain and sadness, you always have the opportunity to make a choice

to hold on to it, or bless it and let it go. You have the choice to take pride in the choices you made that blessed you, and to forgive and release the ones in which you may have been misguided. When we have the wisdom to choose again, to take the gifts of personal growth that came in the hard times, we then transform our story and are able to stand tall and proud in a journey well-lived. As we consciously co-create our lives, we can choose at any moment to be empowered by our story, or stuck in it. Remember this, you are much bigger than your story! You can make a decision right now to honor your past and use those lessons learned to transform your life into greater possibilities. Take pride; stand proud, in all that you are. The choice is yours!
