icensed psychologist Gary Beaver will present Grief and Trauma Recovery Through Induced After-Death Communi- cation, from 7 to 9 p.m. on August 5. His presentation will be held at The Metamorphosis Center, in Burnsville, as part of its Holistic Speakers Series. Beaver who has completed Induced After-Death Com- munication (IADC) training with Dr. Allan L. Botkin, the discoverer of the technique, is a certified IADC trainer and has been appointed to the International IADC Board. He also has extensive training and experience in the use of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR),


which is the foundation of IADC. “I am deeply moved and amazed each time I conduct an IADC session,”


Beaver says. “Each session feels like a sacred event and the healing effects go far beyond anything I have ever seen occur with any other type of therapy. I am so very pleased and excited to be able to offer this amazing therapy to all who are grieving the loss of loved ones.” The Metamorphosis Center’s Holistic Speakers Series offers a different

p.m. on August 3 at its location at Mid- town Global Market, in Minneapolis. This summer clothing swap has been added due to the growing interest in the annual clothing swap and the demand for more such events through- out the year. Anyone can bring unwanted


clothes and swap them for “new-to- you” items. Clean clothing, shoes and accessories for men, women and children of any age and size are welcome. Do It Green! will donate any leftovers to charity. This is a free event, but please consider making a free-will monetary donation in support of Do It Green!, Minnesota’s sustainability programming.
