We again held 2 Elementary Choral Festivals in 2013. For 2014, we were able to increase our offerings and sites in East, West, Upper Central, and Lower Central Michigan. •Collegiate Conference: The 1st and 2nd annual Collegiate Conferences for pre-service teachers were held at Albion College and at Central Michigan University respectively. Our 3rd annual MMEA Collegiate Conference is March 29 at Michigan State University. • Instrumental Clinic: MMEA first initiated this new event in March of 2013, held at Dewitt High School featuring clinicians Dr. David Montgomery (WMU), Dr. Dan Tem- bras (Indiana University-Purdue Fort Wayne) and Dr. Kevin Tutt (GVSU) who interacted with middle and high school groups. The 2nd Annual MMEA Instrumental Clinic (2014) was held at Fowlerville High School featuring clinicians Joe LaJoye (Hastings High School-retired), Dr. John Pasquale (UofM), and William Waterman (Capital City Brass Band).
