The main objective is to rehearse, review, and refine the choral music for the March 10 and 16 Choir Concert and Festival for parents and community.
Subsequent objectives include: a. Warm-up and vocal training. b. Review and application of solfege. c. Practice the use of solfege for sight-reading. Intermediate level according to MSVMA guidelines. d. Practice listening and singing as an ensemble. e. Apply vocal pedagogy to the art of singing in an ensemble. f. Recreate the work of art as the composer intended. g. Reflect on how the art allows for deeper understanding of self and the world. h. Strive for evaluative and creative strands of critical thinking. i. Study and internalize the rubric for participating in choral festival.
