2013 CALEA COMMISSIONERS


A board of commissioners composed of 21 members governs CALEA. They reflect a representation from local, state/pro- vincial and international law enforcement and public safety organizations, along with business, academia, the judiciary, and state/provincial and local government. An executive board is elected at each November CALEA Conference for the following year. The 2013 Executive Board was: Chairperson/President, Louis M. Dekmar; Vice Chairperson/Vice President, J. Grayson Robinson; Secretary, Richard W. Myers; and Treasurer, Craig Webre.


Starting January 1, five Commissioners began a three-year reappointment term: Gary W. Cordner, Don C. Hunter, Gary J. Margolis, Daniel C. Parkinson, and Craig Webre, and two new Commissioners joined the CALEA Board: Anthony B. Purcell, who was appointed to fill the unexpired term vacated by the retirement of Theron Bowman, and Edward R. “Eddie” Tallon, Sr. Commissioners Louis M. Dekmar, Debra M. Baker, and Barton R. Voigt retired from the Commission on December 31st
