selected works, on long-term loan to ASUMHfrom an anonymous collector, are of a Biblical theme. The exhibit will be located atASUMHindefinitely. Also on the first floor, a display of photographs of the Ozark region by Jim Gaston greets guests. Gaston has oper- ated Gaston’s White River Resort in Lakeview for nearly 50 years and en- joys photography in his spare time. An exhibit of woodblock prints and
other Asian art and antiques from the Warren Haley Collection has been in- stalled in the new art gallery space on the second floor. Additionally, a col- lection of Haley’s cloisonné art is on permanent display in the Haley Family Conference Room, also located on the second floor. The collection includes Sumida vases from the mid-1800s, bril- liant red pigeon-blood vases from the 1920s, porcelain figurines and kimonos. The Sheid is open Monday through
Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and for special events. There is no charge to visit The Sheid and view the collections and art gallery displays.
Stella Shepherd hangs one of her works of art at the new art gallery at Arkansas State University Mountain Home. The gallery features the work of ASUMH students as well as displays by members of the Ozark Regional Arts Council.
