Harrington Hoists Promotes Lussow to VP Business Development
> Harrington Hoists Inc., recently announced the promotion of Bret Lussow from Business Development Sales Manager to Vice President Business Development. Lussow has 16 years of combined service at
Harrington Hoists, Inc., starting in 1998 as a Territory Sales Representative for the company in Wisconsin and the U.P. of Michigan. He later held the positions of Powered Product Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager and in 2007 relocated to Manheim, PA to become Business Development Sales Manager. Bret’s new position as
Vice President of Business Development will expand his responsibilities to
include all aspects of Business Development, Engineering and Customer Service. Bret’s focus historically has been on sales/sales training, product development and marketing and he will continue to provide leadership in these areas. “Bret has an outstanding track record of sales
and product development” commented Carlo Lonardi, COO Harrington Hoists, Inc. “He and his teams have been instrumental in growing our OEM business as well as bringing new products to the market over the past few years. Siobhan Hitchen Becomes First Female Director of LEEA
> Siobhan Hitchen, managing director of Rope Assemblies Ltd, has become the first female director of LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association). Siobhan was elected onto the board of the fast-growing organisation, which now represents over 740 member companies worldwide, alongside three other new directors, Douglas Price of Gunnebo, Richard Oldknow of The Crosby Group and James Bolger of Certs Assured.
