Stars get Games up and running
BRITISH athletics stars Nigel Levine and Lesley Owusu in- spired youngsters to run and jump for their dreams during a competition to test their games skills. The Sainsbury’s School Games is a national indoor athletics competition for chil- dren in England.Wycliffe Col- lege in Stonehouse hosted the launch of the competition for Gloucestershire. Pupils from across the coun-
ty competed against each oth- er in track and field events. Nigel, who won a silver medal at the 2013 European Indoor Championships, said: “It is really great to work with the young leaders and to pass on to them the expe- riences I have had represent- ing Britain in athletics and it is something I hope they can drawinspiration from.” Lesley has represented Brit-
