STEP ONE: Inspect the latches of the seat bottom. Begin by unlatching the seat clip used to hold the seat bottom to the frame. If this does not exist, it is highly recommended one is installed. This provides a good opportunity to check the seat clips and fasteners used for securing the seat bottom.
