Your 2014 Memphis Bar Association President

Services, Te University of Memphis School of Law, and the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE). Tis program is thought to be the first of its kind in the collaboration of all these groups to help address the growing concerns that today’s law school graduates do not have the same job opportunities they had five to ten years ago. Designed to help train lawyers in their first three years of practice, participants learn how to practice law and manage a law office. With over fifteen years of experience as a trial lawyer,

countless accolades and recognition by his peers as one of the best of the best, coupled with his position as a partner at Allen Summers, Simpson, Lillie & Gresham, PLLC, Kirk brings his vast knowledge to this program. He is excited about offering this opportunity to graduates of his alma mater, and thinks that the mentoring and affordable office space being provided to Esq. Build lawyers will allow them to become involved in the Memphis Bar Association as he did. A lifelong Memphian, Kirk is a product of Memphis City Schools having graduated from White Station High School in 1989. He continued his studies at Te University of Memphis (then Memphis State University) as a History Major and a member of the university’s baseball team. Kirk still plays baseball today and can often be found cheering on his two sons at their sporting events alongside his wife Anne.

Te MBA is honored to have Kirk at its helm this year and

looks forward to another successful year under his leadership. He is a great role model for all of us and we hope that under his guidance, the MBA can continue to grow and prosper.
