on 11/19/1968. Alps started as the U.S. distribution arm of Tokyo Ropes out of Japan. Through the years there have been changes in ownership, management and employees, but Alps has always held the same beliefs. > Alabama-based Marine & Industrial Supply, Inc., a leader in wire rope and rigging, is working closely with ISO consultant QUALACO to improve quality standards throughout the company by achieving ISO 9001:2008 certification. The company has been rigorously working toward this goal in order to better serve customers while maintaining a positive work environment for employees. Marine & Industrial Supply has spent

nearly 40 years serving customers of all sizes by maintaining a well-stocked inventory of high-quality wire rope and rigging supplies. Top-of-the-line customer service and keeping

room for approximately 25 more office employees. It also includes a new state of the art conference and training room and a new lunchroom to accommodate the hard-working staff. The addition is another indication continued growth. “LGH has come a long way since 1990,
