Learn All About Birthing at Palisades
alisades Medical Center (PCM) is offering a four-week Childbirth Education Series from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays, January 8, 15, 22 and 29. Tours of the PMC Maternity Unit are included with the class.
The more we understand about the process of labor, the better prepared we and our support partner will feel. The class includes understanding the labor process, breathing and relaxation techniques to work with our body, the role of the support person, options for pain medications and medical interventions, Caesarean birth, understand our changing body after birth, newborn appearance and procedures after birth.

Prenatal Yoga Class at JCMC
renatal yoga is a way for a woman to find comfort in her ever-changing body. Through all facets of yoga, including physical practice or movements, breathing and meditation these classes in Prenatal Yoga, held at 6:30 p.m. Tues- days and 11 a.m. Sundays, will cultivate aware- ness and develop comfort measures so that they can connect with their baby. All stages of pregnancy are welcome and no pre- vious knowledge of yoga is necessary.
