These experience will reassure you that God not only exists, but He is within each of us. OUTDOOR ADVENTURE Code Dates

Ready to visit Tucker Leadership Lab for team-building and a ropes course? Join us as we camp out under the stars and in the tree-houses. We will enjoy the great beauty of the earth and sky while creating a community in the wilderness that refl ects God’s wonderful love through the activities, family group times, Bible study, games, and music. We will fi nd ways to work with each other and grow closer to God, others, and the environment. We look forward to seeing you for a time of retreat, refl ection, and renewal. NATURE Code Dates

Do you enjoy nature? Would you like to learn about wildfl owers, forest animals, pond life, astronomy, rocks/fossils, and more? If your answer is “yes,” then a fun-fi lled four days of hiking and exploring awaits you! Bible study about God’s amazing creation will center on stewardship and responsibility as Christians in today’s world. Come join us for fun and fellowship! Led by Jeannette Hisek, Nancy Fullerton and Mike Niles of Lawson UMC.


SPORTS WITH GOD IN MIND (Younger) Code Dates


Grades W212 7/23-7/26 4th-6th


Combining two of our favorite things (Sports and God), this high-energy camp focuses on teamwork, sportsmanship, and celebrating the abilities of all campers. We’re going to help you learn new skills, as well as perfect your own! We’ll explore how to use everyone on your team to get to victory, highlighting each others strengths and affi rming the gifts God has given each of us. On and off the athletic fi eld, there are surprises at every turn, spontaneous challenges involving common household foods, and an inclusive atmosphere. Be prepared to work together, to celebrate everyone’s abilities, to get messy, to grow closer to God, and to make meaningful friendships. Come join the fun! Led by Good Shepherd UMC.


YOUTH LEADERSHIP LAB - JANUARY 2014! Code Dates


Grades W415 1/10-1/12 9th-12th


Youth Leadership Lab takes an holistic approach to leadership training, focusing on fi ve principles of “transformational leadership.” You will gain an understanding of the importance of these principles and how each of these relates to leadership both in your local church and in the world beyond the local church. Through setting SMART goals, forming accountability relationships, and seeking a mentor, you will be encouraged to ensure that this experience has a long-lasting impact. The weekend is designed for high-school youth. Led by Bo Tucker of Lawson, UMC.

SPORTS CAMP (Being on God’s Team) Code Dates


Grades W312 6/9-6/14 5th-6th


We will be exploring what it means to be a player on God’s team and how that affects everything we do! Throughout the week, campers will grow spiritually through team groups, praise, worship, and lots of outdoor activities, sports, and silly games. By the end of the week, each camper will be a spiritual athlete ready to go into the world and live as an important member of God’s team. Led by Aaron Stewart of Avondale UMC and Cora Fulton of Branson UMC.
