1. An 18th century oak longcase clock, Robt. Williamson, London, the 11” square dial with circular chapter ring bearing Roman and Arabic numerals, with applied pierced cherub and crown spandrels, the twin train four pillar movement striking on a bell, with subsidiary seconds dial and crescent shaped date aperture, enclosed within a plain hood with moulded cornice and tapered cylindrical columns, the trunk door with serpentine top edge, on a rectangular base raised on a plinth, pendulum and weights present, 192.5cm high. £500-700
2. A late 17th/early 18th century oak longcase clock S. WHALLEY, MANCHESTER, the 12¼” square brass dial with a silvered chapter ring bearing Roman and Arabic numerals, with subsidiary dial and date aperture on a scrolling flower head and mask pendant ground, the spandrels set with pierced mask and scroll mounts, the twin train four pillar movement striking on a bell, enclosed within a rectangular hood supported by turned cylindrical columns, the trunk door with slightly shaped top and mahogany veneered border, repeated on the case, on a rectangular base, raised on bracket feet, pendulum, weights and key present, 204cm high. £600-800

A George III oak longcase clock, John Jeffrey, Glasgow, the 11¾” brass dial with brass chapter ring bearing Roman and Arabic numerals, the twin train four pillar movement striking on a bell, with subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, the arch with STRIKE/ SILENT dial, enclosed in hood with broken swan neck pediment, the trunk door with inlaid lozenge motif flanked by canted angles, on a rectangular base and bun feet, pendulum, weights and key present. £300-500
4. A 19th century oak longcase clock, Robt. Todd, Dumfries, the enamel dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and date dials, with stag and dog decorated spandrels, the arch decorated with a chase scene of fox, hounds and huntsmen, the twin train four pillar movement striking on a bell, no longer present, enclosed within a broken swan neck pediment hood, the rectangular trunk door flanked by quarter columns, on a rectangular base raised on short bracket feet, weights and pendulum present, 218cm high. £200-300
