A WWII German Kriegsmarine U-boat eight day bulkhead clock, the 6 1/4” silvered dial with Arabic numerals and single train movement, the dial with eagle and swastika device above letter M and numbered 19174 above letter N, with V/N adjust, in tapered brass case, the back plate numbered 16232, overall diameter 20cm x 9.5cm deep. £700-900
Provenance: The vendors late father saw active service in Germany during WWII and brought the current lot back from Germany on his return to Scotland, it is not know exactly how he acquired it.
