THREE A’S US COLLEGE DEGREES – ASPIRATIONAL, ACCESSIBLE AND AFFORDABLE

The UK Universities have become very expensive in the last few years. So many British have been looking Stateside, where they have amazing facilities, student: tutor ratio’s we can only dream about and a modular approach to degrees, where you chose options that you are interested in and decide on your major well into your degree. Consequently US Universities are producing students more adaptable to the work place. Of the top 150 universities in the world the USA have over 50%, so there are many good colleges “beyond the famous Ivy League Universities like Yale and Harvard.”

They have also opened up to international students. They are actively targeting overseas students to attend their Universities. But to date they have always been expensive and a bit of a minefield to navigate through their admissions process. They still don’t have a UCAS system and individual applications to several universities, the US education system is notoriously bureaucratic, can take an age.

International Scholarships are available to candidates who are looking to apply. These can be secured by individual approaches or through an organisation such as InTuition Scholarships that source a number of scholarship awards for candidates. They work on a success
