FX TRADING SYSTEMS
SS PTC works with all financial instruments available from the Trader’s Broker, therefore we can operate in whichever market we desire: Forex, CFDs, Commodities, Indexes, etc. Te system has been designed to be an extremely flexible tool, suitable for any trading environment.
FXTM Does PTC require special technical skills by the user?
SS No, there’s no need of any additional skill. At
the moment PTC works
on top of MT4, therefore who works with it simply has to insert the operations in our soſtware. We have created and uploaded training and educational material available at
www.xsgs-team.com/webinars
besides a comprehensive on-line help in every section and form of the PTC itself. Traders can also find additional online documentaiton and a video tutorial in the PTC area of our web site
www.xsgs-team.com/ptc
FXTM What are the disadvantages of standard Expert Advisers compared to your software?
SS Automatic systems are not flexible. I have been working with these systems, besides PTC, and in my experience constant monitoring is required, such as a deep analysis. Te Semi-Automated mode, which PTC implements, is the best way to get great results for the work of a trader.
FXTM In
your opinion, what are the
advantages and disadvantages of automated trading compared to discretionary trading?
SS It is true that automated systems allow traders not to take direct decisions and reduces their working time, but on the other hand it is well known that automated systems oſten generate losses. Te discretional mode, which is making traders think, decide and act in a direct way, is for sure more time consuming and requires a great effort.
FXTM Do you think that FX traders will use automated systems more and more in the future?
SS No, the future is definitely not in the automated systems, but in the shared know-how generated by the expert traders who operate in the market, which can be used partially or entirely by others via specific tools and
soſtware. Te semi-automatic
approach will allow expert traders to maximize their profits, improve their performance with a reduction in stress. At the same time, the semi-automatic concept implemented in the PTC will allow less experienced users to follow the signals of the professional traders.
FXTM How much does education matter in trading?
SS X-SGS Team is a company that wants to improve the trading skills of
42 FX TRADER MAGAZINE October - December 2013
its users. Tat’s why on our website we have uploaded a great amount of documentation from Videos to Slideshows and also the Webinar I give regularly. Everything is clearly explained in order to help traders who are not yet experts to get the basis for their work as well as expert traders to improve their knowledge on specific topics. Besides this generic educational material, we have also created some material
about the use of PTC,
including step-by-step videos, so that everyone can really become proficient with our soſtware in a very short time, and become a good Trader.
FXTM What personal skills should a trader develop in order to be successful?
SS Tis is something I constantly state during my lessons. For sure it is important to be willing to risk, trading means opportunity to make good profits, but before that you have to risk. In addition, the trader must be extremely rational. Everything may turn better with the support of someone who can lead you along the way, and I can show the way to begginers.
FXTM Do you plan to add other platforms, except MT4?
SS At the moment the PTC is available only for MetaTrader4 platform, but we will soon release a version compatible also with MT5 and for the most commonly used trading platforms.
