it’s not snow, at least not real snow. “Okanagan Mountain will have specialized snow carpet installed,” explained Consiglio. “When complete there will be 18 runs, a rail park and Olympic half pipe which is scheduled to be open late 2014. You’ll be able to ski and snowboard 12 months out of the year. We are in an area of marginal snow so that when we do get snow it’s like having the perfect permanent base.” From now until the end of the year, there is no charge


to tour the area Saturdays and Sundays. (Admission will be charged in 2014) Be prepared to dress for uneven outdoor terrain. Children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult and pets are welcome and must remained leashed at all times. Tere is no outside food or drink allowed.
