Rincon Country RV Resorts
By Jordan Kelley
RINCON COUNTRY IS THE PLACE TO STAY FOR THE 55+ CROWD. COME SEE WHY SO MANY LOVE IT HERE.
O
ne of the hardest things to find when RVing is a place that gives
you the opportunity to rest and play. There are plenty of laid back RV parks and lots of places to park and play; however, few offer both. In Tuscon, AZ, Rincon Country
RV Resorts has two, 55+, family owned resorts that feature a wide range of amenities and activities. Stay for a short time, stay for a season or live here full time; either way it’s all affordable. Rincon Country West has 1100
spaces with deluxe courtyard pull- throughs. If you like clubs, this is the place to be. Tey have over 80 clubs ranging from hiking to genealogy. Over at Rincon Country East there are 460 spaces with magnificent mountain views. It’s so beautiful here it was named
Arizona Large Park of the Year in 2012. Te activity directors here have lined
up some great events including weekly farmers’ markets. Tere’s also Zumba fitness classes and other weekly classes that include woodcarving, computers, oil painting, water aerobics and more. Te clubs host fundraiser dinners and dances, and guests are encouraged to attend tournaments and enter in craſt fairs. And there’s lots more to do here.
Residents spend time in the lapidary and silversmithing room, ceramics room, sewing room, woodshop, gym, library, recreation hall, auditorium, and heated pool and spa, or may find they prefer spending time playing on bocce ball, pickleball, tennis, shuff leboard, horseshoe, basketball, or practicing on the putting green (at
SNOWBIRDS & RV TRAVELERS 28
West only) or Golf net. Rincon Country West has optic
fiber powered Internet and the initial groundwork has been laid for the East resort. Tere are WiFi hotspots around the main complexes at both resorts, making it easy to stay connected to friends and family. If you’ve been here before you’ll
find some changes this year. The tennis courts at both resorts have been resurfaced, exchanging the carpeting for a more all-seasonal surface that works better with the desert heat and monsoon season. Rincon Country East will have two new pickleball courts, and expansion is planned for the gym. Both Rincon Country West and East now have an apparel and gift shop stores this season.
