Close to Chester is the Wirral Peninsula. With 50 miles of beautiful rural walks, breath-taking coastline and award-winning accommodation and fantastic places to eat and drink it makes a great stop for groups on their visit to the North West.


Wirral encompasses an area of a mere 15 miles long and seven miles wide and is easy to get around with an efficient road network.


Located between the Dee and Mersey Estuaries, Wirral offers stunning views over the Welsh hills on one side and the spectacular Liverpool skyline on the other; wherever you choose to visit in Wirral you will never be too far from the water and spectacular coastal scenery.
