The Hop Pole, Nettlestead Green is situated in the heart of the Medway Valley, with stunning views across the heart of Kent. The Hop Pole is very much a traditional country pub. The large conservatory dining area is spacious with contemporary furnishings and a perfect setting for either a light lunch or evening carvery. The Sunday carvery at £9.50 per head is especially popular, with a choice of meats, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and a selection of vegetables.

The Black Horse Inn, Thurnham is an 18th century freehouse inn with luxury accommodation and restaurant in a wonderful rural setting tucked beneath the steep face of the North Downs. The restaurant offers an extensive menu and the chefs pride themselves on using the best local and homegrown produce to give an exciting range of mouth- watering English and continental dishes including pan fried duck breast, slow roasted belly of pork, roasted rump of Romney Marsh lamb and beef fillet topped with wild mushrooms, dauphinoise potatoes and asparagus wrapped in Prosciutto.
