The Chequers Fish Bar in Lenham is a family-run business that prides itself on using only the best quality ingredients – fish from Grimsby Fish Market and potatoes sourced from local suppliers. All the food is freshly fried in pure vegetable oil.


On Fridays the fish bar now serves salmon, which is available grilled or fried along with all the usual favourites.


The White Horse, Sandway is not far from the picturesque village of Lenham and is set in a lovely rural location. With a large beer garden and new children’s play area, this traditional public house caters for all the family. The pub serves a variety of specialist dishes prepared using Kentish produce and cooked in-house. The lunchtime special offers value for money with a two-course lunch from £10.50 per person
