Person required to work as a finder of second hand commercial vehicles, plant and trailers. Candidates must have their own transport, be able to work independently and have extensive experience and a good knowledge of commercial vehicles and construction equipment. They must be self-motivated and proactive with their own communication including IPhone or similar. Commission based, part or full time hours available. Excellent rates.

ARTWORKER


Due to an increased workload we are looking for an experienced Artworker to work mainly on the Downs Mail publications. The work involves typesetting of adverts and document make-up.


Applicants should be conversant with QuarkXpress, Photoshop and Illustrator. A knowledge of AppleMac systems would be an advantage.


The position is part time and initially will only be approximately 5 hours per week, with some flexibility, it may be possible to work around other commitments that you may have. More hours may arise on occasion, if wished to be taken on. It may be that certain training can be given to the right applicant. We are happy to meet applicants to discuss terms and conditions to suit both parties.

We are looking for individuals from any walk of life to join our Board. Our Trustees are responsible for the governance and strategic direction of the charity. Ideally, you will be strategically minded, focussed on seeing the bigger picture and passionate about promoting the welfare and support needs of vulnerable families. Home-Start Maidstone is also seeking someone with the energy and experience to Chair the Board of Trustees of this well established charity.


The time commitment is attendance at six weekly Board meetings and occasional training.


Voluntary position with travel expenses reimbursed.
