2012 BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
A board of commissioners composed of 21 members governs CALEA. They reflect a representation from local, state/provincial and international law enforcement and public safety organizations, along with business, academia, the judiciary, and state/ provincial and local government. An executive board is elected at each November CALEA Conference for the following year. The 2012 Executive Board was: President/Chairperson, Louis M. Dekmar; Vice President/Vice Chairperson, J. Grayson Robinson; Secretary, Richard W. Myers; and Treasurer, James N. Robey.
Starting January 1, two new Commissioners, Linda Pillo and Julie J. Righter, began the 2012–2014 term. Reappointed for another three-year term were Commissioners: Gary Cordner, Don Hunter, Gary Margolis, Daniel Parkinson, and Craig Webre. Commissioners Theron L. Bowman and James N. Robey retired from the Commission on December 31st.
