ffaith bod yna newid ym mhatry- mau iaith, ond, er bod ynifer o blant tair i15oed wedi syrthio o fewn sir Ceredigion o1,000, mae canran yrhai sy’n siarad Cymraeg wedi cynyddu o78y cant i82ycant.” Yn dilyn cyflwyniad y Cynghorydd ap Gwynn, sbar- dunwydtrafodaeth fywiogarsut ygallai ffermwyr integreiddio mwy oGymraeg i’w busnesau, pa wasanaethau oeddargael i’w cynorthwyoigyflawni hyna’r polisïau dylai ysgolion eu mab- wysiadu er mwyn cadw’riaith i ffynnu. NFU Cymru has chosen the Multiple


Sclerosis


Cymru as its chosen charity for 2013.


NFU Cymru plans to organ-


ise and takepart in various events around Wales to help raise funds forMultiple Sclerosis Society Cymru. Mary James,director of NFU


Cymru, said: “All the staff, from across Wales,wereunanimous thatMultiple Sclerosis Society Cymru deserved recognition for its work and our help in fundraising this year.Wehope NFU Cymru members from across the country will help us raise as much money as possible through events and collections forthis very worthwhile cause.” Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a condition of the central nervous system. Normallydiagnosed in people between the ages of 20 and 40, they haveMSforlife,but recentlydeveloped treatments and MS specialists can help manage the symptoms.Noone

knows the cause and acureisyet to be found, butthe MS Society is funding research which is help- ing scientists to reverse the dam- agecaused by MS. Joseph Carter,director of the


MS Society Cymru said: “The organisation’s fundraising sup- port will enableustocontinue to offer help and hope forthe 10,000 people affected by MS in Wales and help fund crucial research to beatMS. This part- nership will also offer us the opportunity to raise the profile and understanding of the condi- tion.”

National dairy show schedulesavailable
