The Progressive Village in the Middle of It All Westmont

Westmont is known for being the former home of the late “Father of Chicago Blues” Muddy Waters, and Ty Warner, inventor of the Beanie Babies collectibles. The village also hosts one of the finest Independence Day fireworks displays in the Chicago area. Golfers will enjoy a quick nine at Westmont’s Twin Lakes Golf Club, while the Westmont Park District provides numerous recreational and educational opportunities. Worth a visit is the William L. Gregg House Museum, an 1872 Victorian home/museum built by a brick maker and displaying collections typical of the 1920s through 1940s in authentic lifestyle settings.
