A CLASS BRIDES IN BRISTOL

Make it S

trapless wedding dresses are still very much in vogue, but straps and asymmetric necklines are making a sneaky comeback in the 2013 collections – and they look sensational. And if you want the best of

both worlds, some collections have dresses with removable straps, so you can cover up a little for the ceremony and then create a different look for the reception. So what’s with the straps? Well, the biggest advantage is that they mean your dress can be softly flowing, without all the structured corsetry a strapless dress requires to keep it in position. Asymmetric necklines are big this season too, often with a statement ruffle or bow on one shoulder. And they’re great for softening the line of square shoulders as well as accentuating slender shoulders. If you want to relax, let your hair down and really enjoy your wedding day, do consider a dress which is secured on the shoulders. Strapless dresses are stunning, but many brides find they spend their big day worrying that they may slip at an inappropriate moment.
