BlackBerry 10: re-invented, re-engineered, re-designed

The first device on the new platform, the all- touch BlackBerry Z10 smartphone, went on sale in the UK on January 31st and 1 million units were shipped globally within the first month alone. Its physical keyboard cousin, the BlackBerry Q10 smartphone will be available from the end of April. Enterprise is BlackBerry’s heritage and

effectively meeting the mobility needs of public and private sector organisations remains of fundamental importance to the company. Alongside BlackBerry 10, BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 has also been launched, BlackBerry’s enterprise mobility management solution which offers device management, security and app management for BlackBerry, iOS and Android devices all from one single console. A unique element of BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 is the BlackBerry Balance feature available on BlackBerry 10 devices, which separates and secures work applications and data from personal content. With BlackBerry Balance, the user has a ‘work’ and ‘personal’ profile which

they can switch between with the simple swipe of a button – in this way, the user can take advantage of all of the rich consumer-focused features and functionalities of a BlackBerry 10 device, while the IT department can be safe in the knowledge that corporate data will not be

compromised in any way. To see the BlackBerry Z10,

the BlackBerry Q10 and BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 in action, be sure to visit BlackBerry at stand E30.
