Essential Oils Are Powerful Natural Gifts

A

nyone who has smelled a rose or cooked with fresh-cut mint has experienced the aromatic qualities of essential oils—the natural aromatic compounds formed in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers and other parts of plants. But essential oils don’t just smell good, notes Amber Keirn, co-owner of Hemp Monkeys gift shop. “These oils have been used throughout history in many cultures for their medicinal and

therapeutic benefits,” she says. “Modern scientific

study and trends toward more holistic approaches to wellness are driving a revival of essential oil health applications.” Keirn says she and business partner Amanda Keller recently had the chance to experience the healing powers of essential oils—an experience that led them to seek out the purest product available to offer at Hemp Monkeys. “We decided that beyond a shadow of a doubt, dõTERRA certified pure therapeutic grade essential oils are the best product on the market,” Keirn says. “They are the safest, purest and most beneficial essential oils available today.”

According to dõTERRA, its essential oils are distilled from

plants that have been harvested at their peak by experienced growers from around the world who cultivate them for ideal extract composition and efficacy. “We are true believers in these oils, and we want to share them with our clients by offering them in our store,” Keirn says.

Doctor, Former State Rep Launch Qivana Tennessee

D

r. Richard Mays, head of internal medicine for the University of

Tennessee, and Julia C. Hurley, former Tennessee state representative, have teamed up to create Qivana Tennessee, offering natural products that address everyday health problems.

Hurley notes that people are con-

fused by the thousands of nutritional products on the market, especially “miracle juices” and “silver bullet” solutions from single-product compa- nies. She says Qivana is revolution-

izing the nutrition industry with its simple systems strategy. “Qivana is the first to admit it doesn’t have all the answers,” she says, “but that’s exactly what makes its strategic partner- ships with world-leading scientists so exciting. The company is building the world’s largest and preferred distribution channel for breakthrough natural products—no gimmicks here.” Qivana products are formulated by the scientists who performed the research, Hurley says. “That means we only have the best. If it’s not the best, we don’t have it.” The parent company was founded on the premise that natural food is pre- ventive medicine for the body to sustain a healthy life. “With Qivana, you can have natural health and wellness with a team of doctors and experts in your area to call on and speak with,” Hurley says.

For more information about Qivana or the benefits of Qivana products, contact Julia Hurley at 865-237-7328 or Dr. Richard Mays at 865-577-0003. See ad, page 13.
