Celebrate Our

OF COMMUNITY NEWS years

Dear Friends, Readers and Advertisers, It’s hard to believe that next month we will celebrate the 25th

and Center City’s Weekly Press newspapers.

Providing community news has been an enormous personal commitment– mostly a labor of love – a family and financial commitment to keep the newspapers afloat during “the good times and the bad times.”

Times have changed since we started publishing, what with online venues and mobile marketing. We are trying to keep up with these changes. However, what has not changed is our belief that it is important to provide readers with an independent, inclusive local forum, as well as an independent means to understand what is going on in their own neighborhoods.

To celebrate this 25th Edition of both newspapers on March 20th

anniversary of community publishing, we will publish a Special Commemorative . We hope that you will participate with us in this issue by

submitting your comments and some congratulatory messages, too!

We thank you for your support over the years. We hope that we have succeeded in providing you with informative community news, and a sense of ownership of your community’s newspaper. With best regards,

Robert Christian, Editor and Publisher
