hauling company that he been working for, for the last 15 years. He owned one tractor, one truck and three livestock trailers. Long pulled one trailer and leased the other two to owner-operators. He ran that operation until 1998. From 1998 to 2003 he hauled hay with a semi-trailer. In 2001 he bought a single axle truck and started to haul newspapers from Ronan to Kalispell two days a week. In 2003, he quit hauling hay and started to haul frozen food for Imperial Meats out of Missoula, along with the papers. Now he is leased to Hagadone Corp. and Dailey’s Meats hauling newspapers from Kalispell to Ronan and bacon from Missoula to Kalispell.

corporation started in January 2012. It is a small, family owned trucking transportation company located in Columbus, Montana. Stillwater Transport hauls bulk propane. We have two full time drivers and two back up drivers and have a delivery radius of about 500 miles. We load propane from Montana refineries and deliver to clients that hold large bulk tanks. These include propane stores, mines, schools, and other various places. We deliver in Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, and occasionally North Dakota. It has been a very new experience and has been a challenge and adventure where we hope to grow and succeed.
