What is the biggest challenge currently facing the trucking industry? It is a constant balance of meeting customer needs and government regulations.
What improvements have you seen in the industry? There has been a general movement of adopting new technologies in both the office and on the equipment.

YOUR COMPANY... When was it started? How long has it been in operation? LITE-CHECK started in 1986 with a contract to supply brake and light testers to the State of California. Additional contracts with theUSMilitary and the Department of Energy expanded the product line and technology.
How many employees? 14 and growing
What are the challenges facing your business today? t is a challenge staying up with the technology being introduced on the vehicles.

a single tool for trailer lights, brakes, and ABS comprehensive diagnostics. Besides the on the spot information for the technician, the vehicle data can be collected for an electronic file and printed reports.
An important company philosophy is customer service. We recognize the technician relies on the LITE-CHECK and a rapid customer response is critical.
Where do you see growth coming from in the future? The vehicle technology will continue to develop requiring new tools and methods employing electronics. A developing need is a printed report containing the vehicle lighting, brake, and ABS conditions important for productivity, management, and compliance.
What is the most important service your company provides to fill a need in trucking? With demands of the economy, new technology, and regulations, LITE-CHECK is the shop’s best friend. RW
