Nominees

Aberlour A’bunadh Nominated by Duncan Ralph ABV 59.8% REGION: Highland “Batch by batch, A’bunadh goes marching on! There have been some batches that have been classics, to me this is one of them. On the nose, some nuts and citrus, on the palate, spicy and creamy with a slight oakiness.”

Sheep Dip Nominated by Duncan Ralph ABV 40% REGION: Blend “This quirky little whisky is a combination of 16 single malts representing the depth of fl avour available from the four traditional regions. A gentle nose reveals hints of exotic fruits married with almonds.”

Pig’s Nose Nominated by Mark Angus ABV 40% REGION: Blend “Created by the famous Richard Paterson, Pig’s Nose is a fi ne blend of specially selected Speyside, Islay and Lowland malts, together they form a whisky ‘as smooth as a pig’s nose.’ This 5 year old blend has an array of complex fruit fl avours.”

Whyte and

Mackay Luxury 19 Automatic entry ABV 40% REGION: Blend “Someone once said that a blend was like an orchestra. Well, this is London Philharmonic stuff with deep, rich fl avours and soft, subtle high notes – all brought together by that master conductor, Mr Richard Paterson.”
