34 - The Ranch Sorter**************************************************************************january-february 2013 RR Ranch M O U N D S , O K L A H O M A
We ended our 2012 season with a beautiful fall afternoon and 227 enthusiastic teams. For having an outdoor arena, we have been very fortunate to have had such good weather and no rain outs.
A special thanks to Bob McPherson and Doug Pritchett for making the trip from Wellington, Texas and Devon and Susie Lyles coming from Hooker, Okla. It’s always nice to renew old friendships and begin new ones.
Thanks to all our sponsors for making 2012 and the Tulsa State Fair a success. SAPULPA EQUINE HOSPITAL, BOB HURLEY FORD, AMERICAN HERITAGE BANK, MID AMERICA FEEDS, TULSA STOCKYARDS, and MOCK BROTHERS SADDLERY..

Fair time is always a fun time in Oklahoma. Add two full days of sorting with a full house audience cheering and you have a BLAST. 661 teams from seven states enjoyed the fun. Our sponsors were very generous with Bob Hurley Ford providing jackets for the winners of each class. Sapulpa Equine Hospital, Tulsa Stockyards, American Heritage Bank and Mid-America Feed provided RSNC shirts for all second place teams. Mock Brothers Saddlery provided gift certificates for Longest Distance Traveled to Chris & Cheree Lebrecht from Rock Springs, Wyoming, and Hard Luck Award to John Kutz. Thanks to everyone for making our fair show a big success.
