Weymouth International Beach Kite Festival - 4th, 5th and 6th May Weymouth Beach is the perfect venue for one of Britain’s biggest Beach Kite Festivals, 3 day extravaganza of colour, fun and
Sandsfoot Castle
excitement in the sky. Features giant kites, sky sculptures, stunt kites, fighting kites,
novelty and cartoon kites. Visitors can stretch their legs and imagination at the kite stalls, free kite workshops and funfair.
Beach Kite Festival Armed Forces Day 20
Armed Forces Day Celebrations 21st – 24th June Weymouth and Portland hosts one of the country’s leading armed forces day celebrations and commemorative events. Major Seafront parade with proud veterans, marching bands, military vehicles, don’t miss the beach assault and bridge building display, military vehicle displays and rally, veterans rendezvous meetings and theatre shows. The festival is part of National Armed Forces Day Celebrations and supported by the Ministry of Defence.
