Christina Cunliffe, Dean, School of Health, BPP University College said:
“Psychology is one of the most popular degree choices for UK students opting for university, alongside business studies and law. At BPP, we design our career-focused degrees to be relevant to the workplace and our new psychology degrees are no exception. The introduction of this new programme should come as welcome news to anyone looking to study in Central London this year with a highly regarded educational organisation.”
Tuition fees are £5k per year for the three year degree programme, compared with the UK average of £8,385* per year, and students are eligible to apply for government student loans. The cost of the two year programme is £6k per year.
BPP has already established itself as a specialist training provider in accountancy, business and law and the newly opened
School of Health is part of its ongoing expansion, offering programmes in psychology, nursing and chiropractic. BPP also runs a BSc (Hons) Business Studies with Psychology, and an LLB (Hons) with Psychology.
BPP has its own degree awarding powers, granted in 2007, and made headlines three years later when it became the first UK private provider to become a university college since 1976. In 2011 it was in the news again when it set its tuition fees at one of the lowest in the UK, at £5k per year.
All programmes are UCAS listed under BPP University College of Professional Studies. Students who want to find out more should call 0800 138 7192 or visit
