achievement of pupils, quality of teaching, behaviour and safety of pupils, and leadership and management. The glowing report high- lighted “an unyielding pursuit of excellence” by the head- teacher, senior andmiddle lead- ers and governors. “Students’ welfare and wellbeing are en- riched and enhanced by an en- vironment and ethos which value personal success, support endeavour, encourage creativity and promote enterprise”, it said. The team commented on the effective curriculum and the ris- ing achievement of the sixth form, which was outstanding. Head of school Julie Derrick
