Blue Bird Car Drives Stenhouse to NASCAR Win; OEM Honors Suppliers
Racing in a car specifically designed with a Blue Bird school bus in mind, Ricky Stenhouse Jr.
won the Dollar General 300 at the Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Ill., on Sept. 15. Approxi- mately 80 Blue Bird Corporation dealers and personnel cheered for Stenhouse throughout the race, during which he consistently referred to his No. 6 Ford Mustang as a “bus” when communicating with his pit crew. including ROUSH CleanTech, at the annual Supplier Conference in Macon, Ga. Tree-time award winner C.E. White Company was honored for being their supplier for three decades. Other winners were Alliance Steel; Actia Corporation; Allison Transmission; Cummins Inc.;
Cummins Emission Solutions; Paramount Manufacturing, LLC; PPG Industries, Inc.; and Steel Warehouse of Tennessee.
