ber signed an agreement to merge under the name Synovia Solutions. A company spokeswoman said the merger posi- tions the former competitors to become a “powerhouse” in fleet transportation. Together, they represent 60,000 school buses nationwide. Te new company offers a broad set of GPS-driven enterprise
solutions such as real-time GPS tracking with key performance indicators and integration with route planning, driver and rider attendance applications, and pre- and post-trip inspections, among other features. Te company said in a statement that current customers will
find the merger to be a seamless transition. “For our customers on both sides, it is business as usual,” the statement continued. Jon King was named CEO of the new Synovia Solutions while

Former Trans Tech Prez Now Leads C.E. White’s Engineering Team Te C.E. White Company named Dan Daniels the school bus
seat manufacturer’s vice president of engineering and product development. Te news followed Trans Tech Bus’ September an- nouncement that Daniels was leaving the company to relocate to the Midwest. A C.E. White spokesman added that Daniels be- gan his new job in October. “We are excited about this move,” said Tony Everett, pres-
ident and CEO of C.E. White. “Dan will begin a new era in product development at C. E. White, and he will continue to enhance our market leadership in product design, develop- ment and professionalism.” Meanwhile, C.E. White officials said Daniels would fully
transition into his new role by the end of the year, as he moves his former responsibilities to new Trans Tech Bus President John Phraner. Daniels served as president of the small school bus manu-
facturer since 2007 and oversaw last year’s debut of the eTrans all-electric school bus. He also worked with owners John Corr and Bart Marksohn to develop the Trans Tech Bus brand from the former U.S. Bus and to focus on new designs, quality and manufacturing efficiencies.
