New guide to help volunteers start up new youth clubs
Working with volunteers from three villages of Martley, Broadheath and Clifton-on-Teme, MHDC has created a guide to setting up a youth club – aiming to make the process as simple and easy as possible. The guide offers information and advice in helping other local communities establish youth clubs in their areas.

MHP communications project – parish council websites
A rural services communications project coordinated through the Malvern Hills Partnership is making good progress. The aim of the project is to improve general communication across communities, initially through better parish council websites. Some of the ideas so far include allowing direct links to planning applications, village news and promotion of rural services such as mobile library and rural bus schemes.
The small grant pot for improving parish communications in general has been key to improving access to parishes; recent purchases include a photocopier for production of a village newsletter and another parish is hoping to buy a laptop and photocopier to be placed in the village shop to provide local residents with better overall access to information about services.
