Malvern Hills District Council is now offering FREE loft and cavity wall insulation to all householders in the district. Simply call our independent agents, ACT on Energy, on
0800 9882881 to book your free survey,
without obligation. They will arrange for our contractors, A&M Insulation to survey your property and install necessary insulation for you AT NO COST.
The simple to use pendant alarm, connects to a 24 hour Monitoring & Response Centre based in Malvern which is staffed by trained operators, every day and night of the year.

When the call is received the operator will communicate with the person via a base unit linked to the telephone, and will call named local contacts or the emergency services to provide help and reassurance where appropriate.
Recently Worcestershire TeleCare launched a new service called CareCall which is a discreet non-intrusive service that automatically telephones users to check on their well-being or reminds them to do something, such as taking their medication or other daily tasks.

In 1985 the three district councils of Malvern Hills, Worcester City and Wychavon formed Worcestershire TeleCare. It is now a subsidiary of The Community Housing Group a not for profit organisation and an accredited member of the Telecare Services Association.

The county council’s highways department has recently sent a letter to all parish councils offering the chance to have a ‘green’ grit bin, and also the opportunity to buy 1 ton bags of grit. If you haven’t received the letter, please contact the county council.
