Shelley and Mark and their teenage kids have found the perfect getaway from their hectic two-nation lifesytle.
hen Shelly and Mark were looking for a house in Winnipeg, they took the usual trek into River Heights
distinctly separate from the master bedroom, something that also pleased the adults. Five years later Chloe is 20 and Max is 16 and they both love their home. So does Mark, who now says, “This is my Shang-ri-la.” Not only is the location terrific, just
10 minutes from the city and another 15 to downtown (they could have been in Charleswood and had the same commute) but the peace and quiet of the countryside is a huge bonus. “I love the garden and the neighbours,”
said Shelley, “and the people we bought the house from loved it, too.” There was only one fly in the ointment
