The Wharf has recently given a new look to their Rock & Blues Open Mic night, with the evening now being hosted by popular local band The Avatars - a 6 piece band fronted by singer Nuala McDermott and fiddle player Karen Higginson. The Avatars play a wide range of music, from country and rockabilly to Celtic Jigs, 70s classics and chart hits. Musicians are welcome to play either on their own or with others, or they’re welcome to come on stage with the Avatars and jam along.
