ZONAR The company’s V3 telemat- ics platform is the next generation to its compre- hensive set of solutions. It collects data directly from the vehicle’s ECM, integrates that informa- tion with satellite GPS readings and transmits the data over 3G networks for immediate reporting.
TRP The company’s line of LED lighting products offer better visibility than incandescent lamps. These LEDs have no filament to break, and the lens and housing are completely sealed. Durable polycarbonate also makes the lenses resistant to impact damage, according to TRP.
ACC CLIMATE CONTROL The company will showcase its TC-Series Roof Top A/C systems, which include free blow interior plenum with 360-degree airflow and available in 55,000 and 75,000 BTU/hour cooling capacity.
FREEDMAN SEATING Freedman offers its Family-3PTA seat. The complete seat cushion and front surface of the back cushion are made with polyurethane foam for comfort and support. The seat includes a headrest pillow built into the back, and the back cushion is engineered, tested and built to be FMVSS 202A compliant.
SURE-LOK Sure-Lok will show its GO2 adaptable oxy- gen holder designed to transport medical oxygen for personal use in school buses. It prevents the cyl- inders from tipping, falling or becoming a projectile during a sudden stop or maneuver. The holder works with the Series L track for fleet-wide de- ployment and vehicle and passenger placement.
TRIAD FABCO Hickory Springs will showcase its molded rebond bus seat back, which has a back panel that is a one-piece molded re-bond part as opposed to many that are glued together. Hickory Springs’ standard molded re-bond bus seat back has only two glue seams that are long lasting and can withstand the extreme temperature changes, according to the company.
BLUE BIRD Blue Bird will unveil its 2014 All American forward- engine and rear-engine school buses, which include a new passenger window design with ultra- smooth operation and enhanced serviceability. The All Americans meet the Colorado Racking rollover specification in their standard configuration.
THOMAS BUILT The company offers two new alternative-fuel offerings: a new propane Type A Minotour bus and a CNG Saf-T-Liner C2 bus. The Minotour has a 30-passenger capacity, is powered by a GM 6.0-liter liquid propane gas engine and has a 3-tank setup with an estimated 315-mile range. The new CNG Saf-T-Liner C2 plans to have the Cummins Westport ISB6.7 G midrange 6.7-liter natural gas engine, which is currently in development and expected to be available in 2015.

SOUNDOFF SIGNAL The company presents a new stop-arm retrofit LED light- ing kit designed for illegal school bus passing violations. The four-light kit uses high-brightness LEDs backed by an 18-month warranty.
