Best of the West Festival 2012

T

HE RECENT Best of the West Festival held in Inveraray attracted vistors from all over the world to Argyll.

Organisers said the amount of people attending the festi- val had doubled from the year before despite the weather not being great. Mike Story from Argyll and the Isles Tourism said: ‘It was ab- solutely brilliant, it went off per- fectly. We doubled the numbers from the year before.

‘Feedback has just been in- credible, people are already asking to come next year. It couldn’t have gone better. ‘To see 1,300 people jump- ing up and down on a Sunday afternoon to the Red Hot Chilli Pipers was just amazing. All I can say is it will go bigger next year.’
