GüdBar Offers Fresh, Local Version of the Snack Bar

N

ew GüdBar nutrition bars are now available at 19 locations

around the Twin Cities, including co-ops and Lund’s and Byerly’s stores. Made in Minneapolis, GüdBar is a natural, preservative-free snack bar baked with fresh fruit.

GüdBar co-founders Will Handke and Ross Pomeroy, identical twins with different last names, came up with the idea for GüdBar after they grew tired of eating the typical bars on the market. Their “fresh, nutritious, delicious” solution was to make an affordable snack bar that tastes so good it won’t be left in the pantry for months. They launched GüdBar in March with three friends and co-owners, Tom Johnson, Mike Steffan and Austin Hinkle.

GüdBar is currently available in one flavor, the original apple-banana-almond. Two other flavors, pumpkin-carrot-pecan and banana-peanut-dark chocolate, will be available soon.
