The outing can be a structured event starting with drinks and a meal at a local restaurant and finishing up in a night club, or it can be nothing more than a traditional ‘pub crawl’ and all that might entail. It’s a matter of personal choice.

For those staying in their home town, if alcohol is to be an important factor in the evening’s enjoyment, organised transport is a must.


Don’t rely on one person staying ‘sober’ and doing the driving. It seldom works.


It is becoming more customary for stag and hen nights to take place, a few nights before, or even a week before, the actual ceremony.


That way everyone can be sure that both bride and groom will arrive for their wedding in a fit state, sober enough to enjoy the whole day with their friends and respective families.
