Rotary House Dementia Day Care Our day centre is operated by a registered care manager with fully trained staff.


We provide a wide range of activities, from reminiscence therapy, singing, arts and craft, discussion groups to outings both local and further afield.


Activities and a feeling of involvement are important and vital to us all. We all have an inbuilt need to participate in activities, and what we do make us who we are today. Engaging in the right balance of self care, work and play activities is essential to our physical and mental well being and therefore enhances the quality of our lives at Age Concern Malling we respect and encourage this.


We are accepting clients from Malling and the surrounding areas for a cost of £25.00 If clients require transport an extra £5.00 will be charged.

BEFRIENDING & K.I.T. (Keep in Touch Line) Our Volunteers offer to visit a client in their own home for a chat, game of cards, etc.


The K.I.T. line is a telephone call from a volunteer once a week to clients for a chat.


ASSISTED SHOPPING SERVICE


We run a fortnightly assisted shopping service to Asda at Kings Hill. Clients are collected from their homes and taken to Asda (escorts or wheelchairs at Asda arranged, if necessary). When taken home shopping is put indoors ready for you to put away.

INDEPENDENT LIVING SCHEME This scheme is aimed at helping people in their homes with jobs such as light housework, ironing, small jobs in the home (changing light bulbs, etc.), mowing small lawns, light garden work


DOMICILIARY CARE & SERVICE All staff are CRB checked & carry ID. Domiciliary Bathing. Domiciliary Footcare. Footcare services in the home or at our nearest clinic.


Community bathing service in the home or at Rotary House.


Meals & Medication Prompt, Sitting Service, Dementia Sitting Service


TRANSPORT SCHEME


We have a vehicle that can take a wheelchair (manual or electric) and two passengers. This can be booked for hospital visits, doctors visits, shopping, etc. For booking details and prices.
