riage rides in downtown Ocean City, including on the Boardwalk’s concrete tram lane, from fall through spring weekends. T e rides will start at the Inlet Parking Lot and move north on Baltimore Avenue, turn east at N. Division Street and ride south along the Boardwalk back to the Inlet around the pier. T e proposal must obtain approval to use Baltimore Avenue from the State Highway

Happy Mouth, Not So Happy


Happy Mouth bit manufacturer English Rid- ing Supply has recalled roughly 3,400 Happy Mouth Wire Mouth bits. Consumers have been asked to immediately stop using these bits according to an alert from the U.S. Con- sumer Product Safety Commission. T e alert specifi ed that the steel braided wire in the mouthpiece that connects the bit on either side of the horse’s cheeks can become frayed, rusted, or worn, causing the bit to break. It has been reported that this inadequate design resulted in loss of control of the horse and possible falls. T e model numbers recalled include,

467248SS. T ese numbers can be found on the product label. Customers can return the bits to the retailer where purchased or return the bits directly to English Riding Supply for a refund.
